Friday & Saturday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday, Monday & Thursday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday & Wednesday: By reservation only

                Limited same-day reservations may be available.

Rental Prices

All rentals are self-guided. Guests are responsible for route choice, conditions, and turnaround time.

🚣 Canoes & Two-Person Kayaks

  • $15 / hour (2-hour minimum)

  • $45 / day

  • $55 / night

  • Overnight extension to 7:00 PM: +$25

  • Fish the Midnight Sun: $30 (walk-up only)

🛶 Single Kayaks, Stand-Up Paddleboards & Fishing Package

  • $10 / hour (2-hour minimum)

  • $35 / day

  • $45 / night

  • Overnight extension to 7:00 PM: +$20

  • Fish the Midnight Sun: $20 (walk-up only)

🧒 Youth Kayaks

  • $4 / hour (2-hour minimum)

  • $15 / day

  • $25 / night

Rental Time Definitions

One-Day Rental

  • Pickup window: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Rental ends: 7:00 PM same day

  • Includes paddles and U.S. Coast Guard–approved life jackets

Overnight Rental

  • Pickup window: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Rental ends: 11:00 AM the following day, unless extended during booking

  • Includes paddles and U.S. Coast Guard–approved life jackets

Hourly Rentals

  • 2-hour minimum required

  • Hourly start times every 30 minutes between 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM​

🌙 Fish the Midnight Sun

       Self-guided, walk-up only option

  • Pickup: Last hour that we are open 

  • Return: 11:00 AM the following day

  • Subject to availability

Fishing Package

Includes:

  • Fishing pole

  • Landing net

  • Lures

  • Hook remover

Fishing license not included.

Rental Conditions

  • Renter must present a valid driver’s license at pickup

  • All equipment must be inspected prior to departure

  • Any existing damage must be reported before leaving (photo required)

  • Failure to report damage or missing items prior to departure may result in additional charges

All rentals are self-guided. Tippecanoe staff do not accompany guests on the water.

Payment Methods

Cancellation Policy

  • 8+ days before rental: Full refund

  • 7 days before rental: 50% refund

  • 48 hours or less: Non-refundable

  • No-shows, early returns, or late pickups are non-refundable.
    Reservations may be rescheduled 48+ hours before the rental start time.

Additional Charges

  • Late canoe return: $45•

  • Late kayak return: $35

  • Excessive cleaning required: $25

  • Damaged or missing boat: $300

  • Damaged fishing pole: $50

  • Damaged kids' fishing pole: $20

  • Missing fishing lure: $3

  • Missing lock: $25

  • Missing key: $5

  • Abandoned equipment: $50

  • Damaged or missing life jacket: $20

  • Damaged heavy kayak paddle: $75–$100 (depending on paddle)

  • Damaged canoe paddle: $45

  • Damaged or missing dry bag, thermacell, or other: replacement cost

  • Discharged/tampered bear spray: replacement cost
