The Lynx Lake Canoe Trail winds through 14 interconnected lakes, beginning at the Tanaina Lake Canoe Trailhead, with well-marked portage sites and boardwalks along the route.
 
Canoes are available by the day or weekend and are staged at Tanaina Lake. Guests must check in at the Tippecanoe paddle shack in South Rolly Campground to pick up paddles, life jackets, and canoe keys before heading to the trailhead.
 
Many lakes and ponds along the loop support northern pike, while Tanaina Lake is known for producing exceptionally large rainbow trout. South Rolly Campground hosts 98 campsites, with the Tippecanoe building located directly on the lake, making it especially convenient for campers and day visitors.
 
Canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, a paddleboat, and fishing gear are available by the hour, day, or weekend. South Rolly Lake is the only Tippecanoe location offering hourly rentals, making it ideal for short paddles, families, and first-time visitors.
 
South Rolly Lake is stocked with rainbow trout by the Alaska Department of Fish & Game and also supports northern pike, offering easy and accessible fishing right from camp.

Bald Lake features a ¼-mile walking trail and a calm, low-traffic environment, making it well suited for wildlife viewing, light exploration, and overnight cabin stays. ✔ Canoe available only to cabin renters

Rhein Lake is a quieter, less-traveled lake located at milepost 5 on the Nancy Lake Parkway, offering a peaceful paddling and fishing experience away from crowds.

Rhein Lake is stocked with rainbow trout and also supports northern pike. A public-use cabin is located on the lake, and a hiking trail loops around the lake, making it a great option for an easy overnight stay or a relaxed day paddle.
